First of all, if you get that reference +1 internet points for you (no, looking that in Google doesn't count
). So I've been re-reading Genshiken and it always hits me as one of my favorites (next to Beck and Ironman 28 of course) since I feel identified with so many of the little quirks that the characters have, a bit of this, a bit of that.
I'm tired as hell (as most of my entries usually talk about) but it's some sort of that usual thing that you are tired in the morning and super active at night, I mean seriously, I work 44 hours from Monday to Friday, I attend classes in a place that's far from home Saturdays (all day) and Sundays (I get out at noon) plus the responsibilities of being the family driver and my daughter... shit you get my point.
I was telling some of my peers yesterday that you know you're growing old depending on the amount of crap that you get from companies (ads, credit card statements, bills, etc). Anyway recently I've been on a tight spot professionally speaking, at the moment I'm a trainer at a Callcenter, I love it, the benefits are awesome, the pay is nice (even through I'd like more $$$, but then again, we all do) and I can focus on practicing where I want to grow which is Learning and Development.
The problem is that you find both sides of the spectrum, jobs that offer lame wages and they ask you to travel around training in different companies (often with my own car... seriously wtf) or others that request that you have a masters, phd, Klopman Diamond and a piece of cloth from Slenderman in order to apply. So I'm stuck in the middle, with more than enough experience to move the next step but not enough to be an Avenger... So I'm studying, taking courses, learning and applying everything I can to grow.
